Lapid on 'Struck Bill': Irresponsible bill aimed at PR

Finance Minister Yair Lapid commented on the Ministerial Committee for Legislative Affairs rejection of the bill proposed by MK Orit Struck which attempted to block future attempts to release Palestinian prisoners.
"This is – and I am mincing words here – an irresponsible bill whose only goal is public relations. Those citing recent security events to explain why prisoners should not be released are in fact saying that the government's policy should be dictated by terrorists," Lapid said.
