IPS fined for holding crime boss away from other inmates

The Court for Administrative Affairs criticized the Israel Prison Service following an appeal against holding southern crime boss Yaniv Zaguri apart from the general population. Zaguri is serving seven years.

Zaguri, by way of his attorneys Zohar Arbel and Avi Hemi, opposed the request to extend the period he would be held removed from the general population. In its decision, the court ordered the IPS to remove the restriction and pay Zaguri NIS 15,000. (Raanan Ben-Zur)
