Man suspected of stealing NIS 30,000 worth of whiskey, vodka
A 29-year-old Hadera man was arrested for allegedly breaking into a private storeroom and stealing a number of expensive whiskey and vodka bottles intended for a wedding. The alcohol is valued at NIS 30,000 (around $4,864).
The man was arrested after police spotted him with a backpack and suitcase filled with the expensive bottles. According to suspicions he was about to attempt to sell the stolen goods. He admitted to the act and tied himself to an additional break in. (Raanan Ben-Zur)
