Aharonovitch accepts recommendation to fire Shaham
Internal Security Minister Yizhak Aharonovitch accepted the recommendation of Chief of Police Yohanan Danino to fire Commander Niso Shaham from his post due to the charges against him, which include sex offenses.
The announcement from the Internal Security Ministry reads, "Commander Shaham is an experienced officer received many awards and accreditations. However, due to the severity of the accusations, his dismissal is necessary." (Omri Ephraim)
