3,000 protest in Ofer Prison; minister: Release is immoral
Housing and Construction Minister Uri Ariel attended the demonstration against the prisoner release in front of Ofer Prison and said: "The Shamgar Committee recommended against releasing prisoners. Why doesn't the government adopt the report? Releasing prisoners isn't according to Jewish values."
Some 3,000 demonstrators are currently at the scene. Ariel added: "We'll return to Judea and Samaria, we'll return to the Jordan Valley, we'll build in Jerusalem and in Shilo and everywhere else. No one can turn the Jewish nation away from its land." (Noam Dvir)
