Interior Ministry: 51.1% voting rate in municipal elections
The Interior Ministry published the voting rate, including soldiers' votes, for last week's municipal election. 51.1% of the population voted in the election.
Election results in Nazareth have not yet been determined as the votes of 29 disabled individuals were disqualified and 17 envelopes containing soldiers' votes have been misplaced. As of Monday, Ali Salam is leading by 21 votes. The issue will be resolved in court. (Omri Ephraim)
