Palestinians slam decision to build 1,500 settlement housing units
The Palestinian Authority has slammed Israel's decision to build 1,500 new housing units in the Ramat Shlomo area of east Jerusalem.
The spokesperson for Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas, Nabil Abu Rudeina said that Israel's settlement police "destroys the peace process and sends the international community the message that Israel does not respect international law." (AFP)
