Deri, Yishai meet in bid to prevent Shas schism
Shas Party Chairman Aryeh Deri met with the party's former chairperson, MK Eli Yishai in the party's faction room in the Knesset in a bid to prevent the party from splitting.
Before the meeting, MK Yishai said "I was called to the meeting, and here I am. We will examine the ways to preserve this movement. I will make every effort to preserve the movement and serve Israel's citizens in the best possible way. I am strong and will continue to be so." (Kobi Nachshoni)
