Peres: We were never enemies of Iran, will not be its victims
President Shimon Peres said that "we were never enemies in the history of the Iranian people. And they were never ours, and we will neither ever be their victims. If they exert force against us they will be responded with unthinkable power."
The president made the remarks in a ceremony marking the 40th anniversary of the Yom Kippur War at the International Convention Center in Jerusalem. "We have learned to be careful of arrogance. Neither errors or achievements should be swept under the rug," said Peres about the war. (Noam Dvir)
