Netanyahu in Yom Kippur War ceremony: Threats changed, not gone

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu spoke at a national ceremony marking the 40th anniversary of the Yom Kippur War, organized by the Defense Ministry, and said that since the war, several key lessons stand by Israel: "The first is to not underestimate the enemy, it can surprise us. The second lesson is strategic depth, we are one of the smallest countries in the world but undoubtedly one of the most threatening ones."

"The third lesson is that the IDF needs to always be prepared for any mission, the threats have changed but they have not passed," Netanyahu added. (Noam Dvir)
