Palestinian source: Peace negotiators submitted resignation
Palestinian sources told the Ma'an news agency that members of the peace negotiation team, including Saeb Erekat, have submitted their resignation to President Mahmoud Abbas due to Israel's "lack of commitment" to the peace process and the continued building beyond the Green Line.
Sources who are familiar with the talks said Erekat's plan to resign was revealed on Wednesday, but they claim it is merely part of his attempt to apply pressure ahead of US Secretary State John Kerry's visit to the region next week. (Elior Levy)
