5 soldiers injured while uncovering Gaza tunnel

Five IDF soldiers were injured when a bomb went off near the Gaza border fence. The troops were operating at the scene as part of efforts to expose more parts of a terror tunnel first uncovered a month ago.

One soldier was seriously injured, another moderately injured and three sustained light wounds. One of the wounded is an officer. They were taken to the Soroka Medical Center in Beersheba. The IDF responded by firing at the terrorists and later bombed a tunnel in the southern Strip. (Elior Levy and Ilana Curiel)
