Syrian opposition on Latakia attack: 'Assad doesn't dare respond'

The Syrian National Coalition, the opposition's umbrella organization, issued a statement condemning the attack in Latakia alleged to Israel: "We condemn any attack on Syrian soil," read the statement which also lay the responsibility at Assad's door: "The regime holds full responsibility for the weakening of the Syrian army and the Syrian state."

The organization also accused: "The Assad regime drags Syria to a bloody conflict and leaves it exposed to gross assaults without daring to respond." (Roi Kais)
