Court dismisses fishermen claims on illness caused by Kishon
Haifa District Court Judge Ron Shapira announced he rejects the lawsuits filed by fishermen on grounds of becoming ill with various diseases due to exposure to Kishon River waters.
The justice ruled that no causal link was proven between the materials, which are claimed to have been discharged into the Kishon River, to the sicknesses the plaintiffs suffer from. In addition, it was not proven the fishermen were exposed to the Kishon waters. (Ahiya RaveD)
