Yachimovich: Standardized tests show good education has a price
Opposition Chairwoman Shelly Yachimovich referred to the recent publication of national standardized tests scores for the previous school year and said: "This is serious information that indicates that high-level education has a price."
Yachimovich further said that "the educational gaps are a strategic threat to Israel." According to the data, the tests show an increase in the students' achievements compared to previous years, yet the gaps in the achievements of students from different social-economic backgrounds have expanded.
