State: 143 migrants released from jail since High Court ruling
According to the State, 143 migrants and asylum seekers were released from custody since the High Court ruled in September that the amendment to the Infiltration Prevention Law is unconstitutional.
The State was responding to human rights groups appeal filed last week, which claimed that the State is delaying the release of the 1,811 asylum seekers currently in jail. (Omri Efraim)
