Morsi trial: 15 defendants accused of killing protesters in court
An Egyptian television correspondent reported that the 15 defendants accused of killing demonstrators in 2012, including ousted President Mohamed Morsi, have entered the courtroom in Cairo.
Among the defendants are Essam el-Erian, deputy chairman of Freedom and Justice party, the Muslim Brotherhood's political wing, and Mohamed Beltagy, who served as member on the security and defense committee during the protesters' killing. (Roi Kais)
