Cairo: Brotherhood supporters attack courthouse guards
Egyptian television reported that clashes broke out between Muslim Brotherhood supporters and security forces in the area of Cairo's police academy, where the trial of ousted President Mohamed Morsi began. The trial was adjourned to January 8.
According to the report, the rioters attacked the security forces, which in returned fired into the air. Several protesters were detained, and so far no casualties were reported. (Roi Kais)
