Knesset raises legal marriage age to 18

The Knesset body authorized the raising of the legal marriage age from 17 to 18. The proposal was put forth by a number of Knesset members, including coalition head Yariv Levin, Meretz head Zahava Gal-on and MK Dov Hanin.

There were 55 votes in favor, and 11 against. (Moran Azulay)
