Military Intelligence unit 504 awarded medal for its work
Director of Military Intelligence Major General Aviv Kochavi awarded unit 504, which operates agents in enemy territories, a citation for the its "extraordinary, innovative work, which is indicative of creativity and boldness."
Kochavi told the unit commander, Colonel K., that "the changes brought about by the unit in recent years allowed the State to handle challenges in the region," adding that military intelligence was conducting groundbreaking covert activity. (Yoav Zitun)
