Belgium probes hacking of premier's office

None

Belgian authorities have opened an investigation into two possible hacking incidents at the office of Prime Minister Elio Di Rupo. The federal prosecutor's office said Wednesday it was too early to tell whether the incidents were aimed at simply sabotaging the premier's computer system or spying.

Wenke Roggen of the prosecution's office said the complaints from the prime minister's office had come in last month. Recently, some European countries have complained about secret surveillance of their top officials and citizens following revelations about a far-reaching spying program by the US National Security Agency.
