BOI governor Dr. Karnit Flug said in a convention Wednesday that "Even a big government with high taxes can be financially sound."
She added, "There is room for more competition in the banking market especially in household economies and small businesses, but it has to come along with a process increasing efficiency by the banks." (Shaul Amsterdamski, Kalkalist)
