Justice Ministry: Prosecution believed Lieberman could be indicted

The Justice Ministry responded to the court's decision to acquit Knesset Member Avigdor Lieberman in the ambassador case trial. The response stated that the decision to file an indictment was made by the attorney general, based on the general opinion among the State Prosecution that there is sufficient evidence to indict the MK.
