Sr. US source: First agreement with Iran likely signed next week

A senior American source said that long weeks of discussions between Iran and world powers have led to an initial agreement which is likely to be signed next week. Within its framework, Iran will pause its nuclear program for six months, in exchange for a lessening of sanctions. In an interview in the Wall Street Journal, the source said that the agreement would give both sides time, during which they could reach a more all-encompassing solution.

The source added that for the first time, Iran is not using the talks just to buy time. (Ynet)
