The wife of Egypt's toppled president says she has visited him in prison, their first face-to-face contact since he was forced out of office in a popularly backed military coup four months ago.
Naglaa Ali told The Associated Press by phone that she and other family members met with Mohammed Morsi on Thursday inside a maximum security prison called Borg al-Arab. Ali said the visit lasted one hour. Ali told the AP: "Thank God, it's just like I saw him yesterday. ... He is more steadfast and bold." (AP)
