Sa'ar circulates bill to replace infiltration prevention act

Interior Minister Gideon Sa'ar circulated a bill memorandum to replace the amendment to the infiltration prevention act that was voted down by the High Court of Justice in September.

The amendment shortens internment of asylum seekers from three years to one. It also addresses the establishment of an open facility for asylum seekers. The legislation will be presented to the cabinet and Knesset in the next month. (Omri Efraim)
