EU says Iran talks 'intense', French FM joining

World powers and Iran are working intensively to advance talks in Geneva over Iran's disputed nuclear programme, a spokesman for EU foreign policy chief Catherine Ashton said on Friday.

The spokesman, Michael Mann, said French Foreign Minister Laurent Fabius will join US Secretary of State John Kerry at the talks today. (AP/Reuters)
