Security guard opens fire on 3 masked men in Ramat Gan mall
A security guard at Ramat Gan's Ayalon Mall opened fire on three masked individuals he spotted through the mall's CCTV. At the time the three were attempting to exit the mall and one of them was approaching the guard armed with a metal bar. After the guard opened fire the group fled to an awaiting car.
An investigation by mall security revealed that the three had broken into a supermarket. It remains unclear what – if anything – was stolen. The guard has been detained for questioning by police. (Gilad Morag)
