Yachimovich: Stalled peace process makes Israel lose clout on Iran

Opposition Chairwoman Shelly Yachimovich (Labor) said that "it's very worrying that Israel arrives in the complex arena of the negotiations between Iran and the world powers at the peak of a crisis with the Americans. The more the peace process with the Palestinians gets stuck and the US draws away, so do we lose influence on the Iranian issue."

Yachimovich also commented on Minister Livni's call on the Labor party to join the government: "Livni's call is a call of political distress, not a cry for peace. The Labor's joining the coalition now will spell the end of any chance of progress." (Moran Azulay)
