Syrian opposition: Russia blocks humanitarian aid
The Syrian National Coalition, the umbrella group of the Syrian opposition, accused Russia of blocking efforts by humanitarian elements who try to transfer aid to the country.
The British Telegraph newspaper reported the group gave the statement in response to statements made by Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov, who accused Syrian opposition groups who refusing to participate in unofficial talks in Moscow with regime officials to prepare the ground for the Geneva peace talks.
