2 Beitar Jerusalem FC fans jailed for torching club

The Jerusalem District Court sentenced two Beitar Jerusalem Football Club fans to prison, for torching the club's offices earlier this year. Matan Navon was sentenced to 10 months in prison and Eviatar Yosef to 22, seven of which from a probation sentence on a previous conviction.

 

The two confessed to setting the offices on fire in protest of the club's signing in two Muslim players from Chechnya. (Aviel Magnezi)
