Cabinet approves appointment of Lieberman as foreign minister

The cabinet approved the appointment of MK Avigdor Lieberman to the Foreign Ministry. The appointment will be brought for the Knesset's approval on Monday. Last week the Jerusalem Magistrate's Court acquitted Lieberman from charges of fraud and breach of trust.
Lieberman, who resigned the post of foreign minister after the indictment was brought against him, was accused of backing the promotion of Ambassador Zeev Ben Aryeh, who gave him secret material related to the ongoing investigation against him. (Moran Azulay)
