Peres: Good that no deal reached with Iran

President Shimon Peres gave a speech at the State memorial service for David Ben Gurion, and commented on the Iranian issue. "Last night the world powers didn't reach a deal with Iran, and it's good that they didn't. The deal is supposed to prevent a nuclear Iran, and the deal discussed does not fulfill that goal," Peres said.
He added that "there's no point to a deal which will leave Iran with nuclear capabilities. I believe the government's stance, as voiced by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, is correct." (Noam Dvir, Ilana Curiel)
