New Histardut head to be appointed only after Cabal petition cleared

A Tel Aviv District Court has decided that Avi Nissankorn, Ofer Eini's recommendation to succeed him to the Histadrut Labor Federation leadership, will be postponed until after the High Court issues a ruling to a petition lodged by Labor MK Eitan Cabel against the appointment.
Cabal objects to the appointment opting instead for an elections. Lat week Eini announced his intention to leave the top labor union position in some three months time. (Miki Peled, Calcalist)
