Man gets 5 year sentence for sexual offenses on granddaughter

It has been cleared for publication that a Haifa Magistrate Court has sentenced a 72-year-old man to five years imprisonment for performing multiple indecent acts on his 9-year-old.
The offenses occurred when the granddaughter arrived at her grandfather's house to aide him because of ailment he suffered from. As part of a plea bargain, the grandfather admitted to the allegations and in addition to jail time will also pay his granddaughter NIS 75,000 in compenstation. (Ahiya Raved)
