Lapid on Iran: Diplomacy better than force
None
Finance Minister Yair Lapid brought up the Iranian nuclear program during his speech at the assembly of the Jewish Federations of North America in Jerusalem. Lapid said diplomacy was better than use of force but stressed the necessity for caution.
He added that Israel will not be quiet about the Iranian program, but that he does not want to harm the special relationship between Israel and the United States, while making sure the government's position is understood. (Noam Dvir)
