Hashish smuggling attempt at Egyptian border thwarted; 4 arrested
Undercover Border Guard officers thwarted a smuggling attempt of five bags containing 100 kg of hashish near the Egyptian border.
Four Egyptian citizens who crossed the border fence from Sinai to Israel with the bags were detained. It is suspected they intended to give the bags to an Israeli dealer. The suspects were taken to Shin Bet interrogation. (Yoav Zitun, Omri Efraim)
