Sa'ar slams Beit Shemesh mayor for 'ignorant' approach to gays

Interior Minister Gideon Sa'ar fiercely criticized Beit Shemesh Mayor Moshe Abutbul for speaking up against homosexuals. In a conference of mayors Sa'ar said: "I denounce and condemn the remarks, which represent an ignorant and outraging worldview."
Sa'ar further added: "As community mayors, you are public leaders who were directly elected by the public. It requires a responsible approach both in actions and speech." (Omri Efraim)
