Netanyahu: Deterrence achieved in south

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu told soldiers of Gaza Brigade: "There is a 98% decrease in rocket fire over the last year and we have achieved a significant deterrence. But we are not fooling ourselves; we know Hamas and other terror groups are continuing to arm. We will not suffer attacks on our communities."
Netanyahu added: "We worked on closing the Sinai border, and over the last few months there have been no penetrations." The remarks were given during a Netanyahu and Defense Minister Moshe Ya'alon's visit in the brigade base to mark one year to Operation Pillar of Defense. (Matan Tzuri)
