Peres sends condolences to Philippine president after typhoon

President Shimon Peres sent a letter of condolences to the Philippine President Benigno Aquino III in the wake of Typhoon Haiyan. Peres wrote: "I ask you pass on my condolences. Our hearts go out to the families who lost their dear ones in this terrible disaster. We hope the equipment provided by Israel will help ease the suffering of the Filipino people."
