IDF medical team authorized to leave for Phillippines

Defense Minister Moshe Ya'alon authorized the IDF medical team to leave for the Phillippines on Wednesday in order to assist survivors of the typhoon which hit the island nation over the weekend. Ya'alon said, "The delegation includes a field hospital, medical personnel, equipment and water purifiers, as well as additional aid, in order to give the Filipinos the best assistance we can provide."
