Indictment: Eritrean tried to rape tourist from France

The Jerusalem District Prosecution filed the city's District Court with an indictment against Ahmed Abed al-Wahab, a 24-year-old Eritrean citizen, who is accused of a rape attempt.

According to the indictment, al-Wahab followed a French tourist who was travelling in Jerusalem's Old City to her apartment in order to rape her. She locked herself in the bathroom and a struggle ensued until police arrived at the scene and detained the man. (Aviel Magnezi)
