Report: Man suspected of Iranian deputy minister murder arrested

A source in Iran said that the country's police have arrested a suspect in the assassination of deputy minister for industry and mining, Safdar Rahmat Abadi, earlier this week, Iranian news agency IRNA reported.
According to the report, the suspect was under police surveillance in recent days and was finally arrested on Wednesday. The source noted that the murder suspect was an acquaintance of the deputy minister. IRNA reported that the police are expected to release a statement on the subject later Wednesday. (Ynet)
