Peres on soldier's murder: Gov't will act to prevent similar attacks

President Shimon Peres commented on the stabbing murder early Wednesday of IDF soldier Eden Atias by a Palestinian in Afula, during the ceremony for incoming Bank of Israel Governor Dr. Karnit Flug and said, "I ask that we take a moment to remember Atias, who was murdered by a vile terrorist. I am confident the government will do all it can to ensure that such incidents do not occur again." (Noam Dvir)
