Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu spoke at the ceremony officially appointing Dr. Karnit Flug as governor of the Bank of Israel, held at the President's Residence in Jerusalem, and said, "This is a happy day for the employees of the Bank of Israel, that a governor is coming from among the bank's ranks.
