Minister German to Beit Shemesh mayor: Your words have no place

Health Minister Yael German responded to comments made by the mayor of Beit Shemesh, Moshe Abutbul, and said, "I was disgusted by the meaning of your words, which sound like the job of a woman is to educate children and no more than this and yes, your outrageous comments against the LGBT community. Your comments have no place in a democratic country."

Recently, Abutbul denied that his city had any LGBT citizens, and suggested that the police and the Health Ministry deal with the phenomenon. (Yaron Kelner)
