Report: US, Iran may cooperate on resolving Syrian crisis
The US and Iran may participate together in the UN's convention on the matter of humanitarian crisis in Syria. According to diplomats and UN officials, this may be another indication for the growing ties between Washington and Tehran.
According to report on Foreign Policy magazine, an UN official recently sent invitations to 12 countries to take part in the convention, including the US, Russia, Iran and Saudi Arabia. American and Iranian diplomats have agreed to take part. It is still unclear where the convention will take place, which was originally planned for mid-November. (Ynet)
