Al Jarida, a Kuwait based paper, has reported that as a result of the rift between the US and Israel over the Iranian issue, US President Barack Obama refused to accept a telephone calls from Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on a number of occasions.
Citing an "informed source," the paper said the US president opted to transfer the calls on to US Secretary of State John Kerry. Influential members of the US Jewish community are reportedly working to mend relations between the sides. (Roi Kais)
