TA: Plan authorized for construction of 35,000 housing units
None
Eight years after the introduction of a program detailing the building of 35,000 housing units in Tel Aviv-Jaffa, the plan, known as "Tel Aviv 5,000" was signed today for deposition and objections.
Among the main points of the program: addition and regulation of public buildings, relocation of the new central bus station and the establishment of a residential and employment complex at the location, and a ban on construction of towers in the white city area. Additionally, the committee approved the plan known as "Tel Aviv 3888" for the renewal of the Carmel Market. (Ynet)
