With the arrival in Israel of French President Francois Hollande, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said during a welcoming ceremony at Ben Gurion International Airport, "France, like Israel, aspires to a stable Middle East, in which people live together in peace and security.
"You show a firm stance against Syria and also against Iran and its attempts to arm itself with nuclear weapons," Netanyahu said. "It cannot be permitted for Iran to arm itself in nuclear weapons, it will endanger not only Israel, it will endanger France, and Europe and the entire world," he emphasized. (Noam Dvir)
